About Us

Deery Consulting was founded in 2005 by our Managing Director and engineer Paul Deery.

Paul spent five years at Connell Wagner (now Aurecon) in Melbourne before making the sea change to South Gippsland, Victoria, where he started consulting from a home office in Venus Bay.

In 2021, Deery Consulting welcomed on board a new director, Matt Cook, to help Paul lead and direct the company into the future. Matt was already well known to many as he was an existing Senior Engineer here at Deery Consulting. Paul remains fully involved in the day to day running of the company and took on the role of Managing Director.

Over the years, hard work and dedication to engineering and our clients have seen the company

evolve and grow.  With the head office now located in Inverloch, we have a team of 10, including 8

talented engineers who are committed to the success of the business and client projects.

Paul has more than 25 years of experience in industrial and light commercial buildings, with his main

expertise in the design and documentation of residential structures.

Matt commenced with the company in 2014 and has a solid reputation of being a hardworking

dedicated team member who has a keen eye for detail.
